The Amy Jones Group was recommended to us by a long-time realtor-friend over in Sun City West.  I asked him to recommend a good realtor in the Chandler area and The Amy Jones Group was his first choice.   We later made a phone call and met with Amy Jones.  When we made our first trip down from Missouri to view potential properties, we were highly impressed with the way Amy had everything well organized.  She was careful to listen to us and did not waste our time looking at houses that did not meet our criteria.  Over a period of weeks, Amy continued to stay in contact with us to inform us of new listings which matched our criteria and price range.   When a property came up that looked very interesting to us, Amy was out of town but she arranged for team members Becky and John Kolb to meet us and they worked with us from that point forward.   Becky and John delivered the same quality service as Amy, had everything organized, and took excellent care of us.  

Being in both commercial and residential real estate development including residential subdivisions in Missouri, we were highly impressed with Becky & John. We feel they worked extremely hard to get us the property at the best possible price. Even after the contract was signed, they were in constant contact keeping us informed and up to date on every detail leading up to the closing.  They moved the purchase of the property seamlessly through closing and in addition, helped us with other personal things which was definitely above and beyond the call of duty.  We did contact a couple of other realtors who had listings on properties some friends had found for us, but The Amy Jones Group outshone them all.

Amy did an outstanding job marketing our home that we sold in Southeast Chandler this past June. We knew the housing market was really slow, so we braced ourselves for a long process full of potential "low ball" offers and buyer demands. Amy was very optimistic, took incredible pictures that she used to market our property on-line, and got to work. She helped weed out the "low ball" offers and within three weeks of listing, we had three offers and accepted a very fair and competitive offer. She helped us navigate through the offer on our new build home in Fulton Ranch too. The real estate market is tough, but Amy is a true real estate professional and with calm confidence helped us get great results. We didn't even need to hold an open house! We live in DeWinton, Alberta and after this last long and cold winter, we decided to look at real estate in a warmer climate. The rise in the Canadian dollar relative to the US dollar and reports that Phoenix area real estate had dropped significantly in value, prompted us to consider purchasing a winter vacation home.

We found Amy Jones’s name and two other real estate agents by doing a Google real estate search. One agent did not reply to our email and the other offered us free gifts or reduced fees if we would use their services. We did not want to deal with an agent that promised gifts or reduced fees. We wanted a professional agent who was extremely knowledgeable in real estate and able to answer all the concerns that a Canadian resident might have.

Amy responded promptly to all our numerous questions about Phoenix area real estate, legal matters, insurance, security and safety issues.

Amy had asked us what type of lifestyle and property we were interested in? We did not realize how important the lifestyle question was until we looked at various properties in Mesa, Gilbert and Chandler. Amy showed us several properties in those areas and we quickly realized we did not want to buy just another home in another city suburb. We wanted a winter vacation country club lifestyle.

Amy showed us several properties in Sun Lakes Oakwood area and the associated amenities. We were impressed with the 27 hole golf course, 3 swimming pools (heated for winter use), the beautiful club house, other recreation facilities and community security. The area was kept in immaculate condition and the people we met were very friendly.

Amy assisted us in closing the deal, completing all the legal forms, getting required insurance and provided a list of the utility companies. Her service was outstanding and she gave accurate advice, always acting in a very professional manor. We would recommend her services to anyone without any hesitation.

Julie Sommerfeld has been great in helping us to sell one home in Scottsdale in 2005 and buying a home in Gilbert in 2009.  Julie's team was able to sell our home in 2005 with 3 offers on the first day to market which resulted in a quick and successful sale of the property.

For buying needs in 2009, Julie presented us with a no-hassle set of online listings where we, as buyers, could establish our needs and pinpoint some of the aspects of the homes from MLS that we were interested in.   Julie could then better target our needs by refining our search based on her own expert knowledge of location, community offerings, and buying parameters (size of home, price of home, proximity to highway, and ability to raise a family).   Based on that targeted search we could then focus on a subset of homes which met our needs without having to spend lots of time doing so.   That resulted in roughly 15 homes seen and the ability to settle on a couple which were the best.  Julie was very patient and detailed in explanations of pros and cons as we visited each home.   Very professional.   We then put an offer in on a home and quickly completed the sale.   Thanks to Julie's team for helping us save time and get the home that we were interested in quickly.   With a pregnancy on the way we were then able to get settled into the new home prior to delivery of our newborn which resulted in our ability to furnish and decorate the home the way that we needed to on a tight timeframe before our baby was born.   Our baby girl has now arrived and we enjoy the extra space to take care of her.
